Richard Guy’s experience as an auditor has provided him the ability to leverage his experience and mortgage industry knowledge base to effectively serve his clients. He is also works diligently in the continued development of the audit team through his involvement with department trainings. Richard has served as an audit professional in public accounting for over ten years, providing audit, assurance and consulting services to both public and private companies.

Before joining Richey May, Richard worked as an accountant in the digital media industry. In his capacity as a Manager at Richey May, Richard primarily serves closely held companies in the mortgage industry. He is also one of the lead managers in the Employee Benefit Plan Audit practice. Richard enjoys public accounting due to being able to build relationships with clients where he can serve as a trusted advisor. He enjoys working collaboratively with his team with the goal of successfully completing an audit and the delivery of financial statements to his clients.

Richard grew up in Michigan and now resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado with his wife, two children, and the family dog. He enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on his favorite sports teams and playing golf.
