Seth Cohen joined Richey May in 2016 as Director of Business Development for the firm’s mortgage banking practice. His primary role includes identifying and establishing new client relationships with companies who would benefit from the firm’s mortgage industry specialization and value-added services, including audit and tax services, as well as a wide range of advisory services that help our clients mitigate risk and promote long-term success.
Prior to Richey May, Seth spent over 17 years in the mortgage industry while working for Structured Portfolio Management, Bank of America, Fannie Mae, and KPMG. At Structured Portfolio Management, he performed detailed industry analysis and due diligence for the purpose of acquiring an independent mortgage bank. While serving as the Senior Vice President at Bank of America, Seth was responsible for CFPB, HUD and FHFA regulatory compliance, investor risk management and policy implementation within residential mortgage servicing. His various positions in the industry have helped him to develop an understanding of the financial and operational building blocks necessary for a mortgage company to be successful.
When Seth isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, two children and two dogs. He also likes to read, ski, and play baseball and tennis. Most important to Seth are all things related to Philadelphia sports, especially when the Phillies and the Eagles are involved.
