Through the Richey May Cares Foundation—funded by both our firm and our team members—we transform individual dedication into collective impact. We invest not just financial resources but also our time and expertise to strengthen the communities that have supported our growth. This commitment to service reflects our belief that true success comes from digging deeper into what matters most: creating positive change in the lives of others.
Organizations
Our team has helped a number of different causes, including youth mentorship programs, painting the homes of our veteran and elderly communities, and sponsoring an elementary school’s field day, just to name a few.
2019 Tennyson Center Fall Festival
Every fall we work with the Tennyson Center for Children to put on a Fall Festival. At the festival, children get to play games, build scarecrows, get their face painted, and decorate pumpkins.
Fall Food and School Supply Drive
In the fall we do a food and school supply drive for local schools who need the extra help.
Other Events
Blood Drive
We do regular on-site blood drives to support the Children’s Hospital of Colorado.
Tennyson Center Cookie Decorating Event
We partner with the Tennyson Center for Children to put on a cookie decorating event in December.
Giving Tree
In December, we set up our Giving Tree and collect gifts for local families in need.
Giveback Day
Our biggest event of the year is our annual Richey May Cares Giveback Day, where instead of a day at the office we go out and volunteer for various organizations in our communities.
We are unable to host our 2020 Giveback Day of service, but we were able to send some of our annual donations to the non-profits we work with instead.
Ronald McDonald House commented that the donation is “literally helping keep the lights on.”
Quarterly Gives Award
Each quarter Richey May Cares Foundation randomly selects two non-profit organizations that our employees submit to receive a donation from the Foundation.
We always have such great participation and take pride in having the ability to give to the organizations that matter most.
