Alex Brown is the Director of Cybersecurity Solutions at Richey May and is a strategic lead for service and product development within Richey May’s Cybersecurity practice. He has played numerous roles throughout his 20-year career in IT and Cybersecurity; he has led cybersecurity strategic and technical projects at some of the largest companies in the U.S. while working at the largest pure-play cybersecurity company in the country. He is the President of the Open Worldwide Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Boulder Chapter and utilizes his technical acumen and business background to bridge the gap between security practitioners and C-level executives. Having worked with many of the Fortune 100 in his career, he understands the necessity of proper quantification of risk and the communication gap between practitioners and executive leadership.
