Chris joined Richey May in 2016 serves as an Audit Director in our Alternative Investments service line. He specializes in serving clients across the financial services industry, including domestic and offshore hedge funds, commodity pools, master-feeder structures, ’40 Act funds, and fund of funds. Chris advises his clients on initial organizational structure, audit processes, management of operational matters, and valuation issues specifically around ASC 820.

He is dedicated to educating clients on the complexities of the industry through his contributions to many thought leadership pieces and templates. These pieces help clients stay up to date on the latest regulatory news and best practices to be successful. Chris’s knowledge sharing extends to his team members as well; he is is continually training and developing others as a member of the training and resources committees. He is continually refining and implementing new processes and procedures to help the team.

Chris graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in finance. He also received a Master of Science in Accounting from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg in Gothenburg, Sweden. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA).
