Josh Jensen joined Richey May in 2012 and serves as an Assurance Partner specializing in the mortgage banking industry, with additional expertise in employee benefit plan audits. In this role, he leads financial statement audit engagements for mortgage banking clients, applying deep industry knowledge to help organizations navigate regulatory requirements, assess economic trends, and implement best practices for compliance and financial reporting. Josh is dedicated to providing high-quality customer service and proactive assurance, building trust through clear communication and cultivated relationships with both clients and colleagues. Within Richey May, Josh is instrumental in mentoring and developing staff, spearheading the department’s recruiting efforts to build and sustain audit excellence. He actively advises team members and clients, leveraging insight into changes that affect the mortgage banking audit landscape—from loan origination and servicing to regulatory agency requirements and evolving audit methodologies. Josh also demonstrates leadership outside the firm, serving on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association, where he contributes to the advancement of industry standards and advocacy.
