Nancy Asakura is a Partner in the Tax Practice at Richey May SoCal, formerly USXA and Sobul, Primes & Schenkel. With more than 20 years of dedicated experience in the real estate industry, Nancy specializes in delivering comprehensive tax compliance and consulting services to partnerships, corporations, and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs). Prior to joining the firm, Nancy served as Vice President of Tax at Alexander & Baldwin, Inc., where she directed complex tax strategies and compliance initiatives for a major real estate and infrastructure company. Nancy’s earlier career in public accounting at KPMG and Deloitte built her reputation as a trusted advisor to multinational corporations, real estate funds, operating partnerships, REITs, and private investors and developers. She developed extensive expertise in the nuanced tax challenges unique to real estate transactions and entities. Nancy is known for her pragmatic approach and deep industry knowledge, consistently delivering tailored tax solutions that help clients achieve investment growth, maintain regulatory compliance, and maximize operational efficiency within the dynamic real estate capital markets.
