Rob joined Richey May in 2017 and currently serves as an Audit Partner in the Alternative Investments practice.  He has been involved in public accounting since 1996, serving both private and publicly-held companies in an audit and tax capacity. He specializes in serving clients across the financial services industry, including private equity and hedge funds. As a leader in the firm’s Transaction Advisory Services team, he provides M&A expertise to clients contemplating entity transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions and buy/sell side due diligence.

Prior to joining Richey May, Rob spent eight years with EKS&H preparing and reviewing ASC 740 tax provisions and consolidating C corporation and partnership returns for clients in multiple industries, including private equity, entertainment, technology,  manufacturing, regulated utilities and real estate.  He also spent time working in the tax transaction services area providing research and guidance on entity restructuring, M&A due diligence and corporate liquidations. Rob started his accounting career with Arthur Andersen, LLP in Denver and later transitioned to KPMG, LLP.
