Tyler Wallace currently serves as a Director in Richey May’s assurance practice. He has more than a decade of combined public accounting and industry experience, including serving private, growth stage companies, and public company clients. His experience includes work in SaaS, technology, retail, consumer products, manufacturing and distribution, medical supply, private equity-backed companies, and large multinational retail.
Prior to joining Richey May, Tyler worked at EY and Tyson Foods and also served as Director of Finance for a growth stage retail agency. While at EY, he developed deep experience serving SaaS companies, with a particular focus on revenue recognition, complex contract arrangements, and stock based compensation. He also served on the Walmart audit engagement, gaining experience with large scale retail operations, public company reporting, inventory, and internal controls. His broader areas of focus include acquisition accounting, lease accounting, ERP implementations, and financial reporting.
Tyler is a licensed CPA in Arkansas and graduated from the University of Utah with both a Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He serves on Richey May’s Mentoring, Technical Audit Framework, and Client Acceptance committees, as well as the Finance Committee for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Arkansas.
