Our Cayman Island office allows us to conduct audits of pooled investment vehicles, such as hedge funds, registered under the Cayman Island Monetary Authority (CIMA) Mutual Funds Law. This office signifies our commitment to meeting the unique needs of our alternative investment clients. Our team is very experienced with CIMA regulations, including auditor consent letters and the filing of Fund Annual Returns (FAR), which are required to be filed within six months of an entity’s fiscal year-end. The FAR form contains financial data on the registered fund, including a summary statement of financial position, which discloses changes in net assets from the beginning of the year through the end of the year. With our Cayman Island office, we are well positioned to add value to our international clients with CIMA-registered entities. We are also registered with the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (CIIPA).
The Hedge Fund Association (HFA) is an International not for profit industry trade and nonpartisan lobbying organization devoted to advancing transparency, development and trust in alternative investments. HFA’s global presence spans five continents and over 14 countries.
