Jason Hamilton, CISSP, CISA manages the cybersecurity assessment engagement. Jason has more than 21 years’ experience supporting and securing information systems in small to large environments. He has held roles in a number of progressive cybersecurity positions supporting companies in industries such as Data Services, Financial Services, Public-Sector, and Telecommunications. Jason has extensive experience in the planning and execution of a variety of projects including Cybersecurity Program development and executive leadership, audit-readiness, vulnerability management, incident handling, and network infrastructure design and implementation.
Prior to joining Richey May, Jason worked as the Manager of Information Security at a Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO), where he led a team of security professionals to manage daily operations, compliance and audit preparedness, and incident response, and was responsible for all aspects of information security for a consortium of multi-billion dollar Credit Unions. Jason Hamilton joined the United States Marine Corps immediately after high school, and began his career in IT and information security by maintaining communications equipment, PC desktops, and network devices.
Jason lives in Elizabeth, Colorado with his wife and two sons. He spends his off-time working on project cars, lifting weights in his garage, snowboarding, and woodworking. He volunteers to coach youth sports during the warmer seasons, and perennially donates time to non-profit organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Toys for Tots.
