Jason Hamilton is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), focused on Governance, Risk, and Compliance management, security program development, regulatory audit preparedness, and secure enterprise architectures. He has held roles in numerous, progressive cybersecurity positions supporting companies in industries such as Data Services, Financial Services, Public-Sector, and Telecommunications. Jason has extensive experience in the planning and execution of a variety of projects including Cybersecurity Program development and executive leadership, audit-readiness, vulnerability management, incident handling, and network infrastructure design and implementation. Jason is an experience leader and trusted advisor with proven ability to build information security programs, lead teams, and guide organizations beyond compliance with numerous regulatory standards. His strengths are data governance, security program development, compliance, and secure solution design.
Jason is a problem solver at heart. He enjoys puzzles and designing solutions to technical challenges. His extensive experience in the information security field gives him the ability to solve complex issues using proven techniques, leading to successful strategies in any environment. Jason grew up in a rural town outside of Houston, Texas. He enlisted in the Marine Corps after high school, and spent his five year tour at Camp Pendleton, California. Following his Honorable discharge from the Marines, he moved to Dallas, Texas to continue his career path in IT.
Jason met his wife in a tiny college town north of Dallas, and they moved to Colorado in 2008. Jason now resides in the rural farm town of Elizabeth, Colorado with his wife and their two children, and spends his spare time snowboarding, playing softball, weightlifting, woodworking, building muscle cars in his workshop, and leading a local Cub Scout den.
